Role Overview

As we continue to grow, we seek a dynamic and experienced SaaS Implementation Specialist to join our software team. As our Senior Implementation Specialist, you will be the primary driver behind successful customer onboarding, configuration, and ongoing utilisation of our SaaS platform, Obi.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams—including Sales, Customer Support, and Product—to ensure our clients realise the maximum value from our platform.

This role demands a blend of technical aptitude, consultative skills, and a passion for partnering with clients to solve complex business challenges.

Key Responsibilities


End-to-End Implementations

  • Oversee the complete post-sale process, including project scoping, platform configuration, data migration, and client training.
  • Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and milestones to ensure successful and timely implementations.


Technical Consulting

  • Serve as the go-to resource for complex technical questions, troubleshooting, and solution design.
  • Provide expert advice on system integration points, APIs, and best practices for adopting construction-tech solutions.


Client Engagement & Training

  • Conduct virtual and on-site training sessions for client stakeholders at various levels, from end-users to C-suite executives.
  • Gather and analyze client feedback to drive continuous improvement of the platform.


Documentation & Guide Creation

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive onboarding materials, user guides, and technical documentation for both internal teams and external clients.
  • Continuously update best-practice documentation to align with platform enhancements and evolving implementation methodologies.


Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Collaborate with Product Management to influence feature development based on customer needs and feedback.
  • Partner with Sales and Support teams to ensure seamless handoffs and strong ongoing client relationships.


Implementation Methodology & Process Improvement

  • Define and refine implementation methodologies, standard operating procedures, and documentation.
  • Mentor junior team members to uphold excellence in service delivery.


Performance & Reporting

  • Track key implementation metrics (e.g., time to launch, adoption rates, client satisfaction) and report on successes, blockers, and recommendations for improvement.
  • Identify opportunities to optimize and scale implementation practices across multiple projects.


Mandatory Requirements/Experiences


SaaS Implementation Expertise

  • 5+ years’ experience in a SaaS implementation, professional services, or a customer-facing technical consulting role.
  • Proven track record of managing end-to-end deployments with multiple clients simultaneously.


Project Management Skills

Demonstrable experience in creating project plans, tracking timelines, and driving accountability among internal and external stakeholders.

Technical Proficiency

  • Strong understanding of web technologies, APIs, data migration, and system integration concepts.
  • Familiarity with at least one project management tool (e.g., Jira, Asana, MS Project).


Documentation & Communication

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts in a clear and concise manner.
  • Proven ability to create and maintain high-quality documentation for varied audiences.

 

Nice to have Requirements/Experiences


Certifications:

PMP or PRINCE2 certification (or equivalent).

Construction Industry Exposure

Previous experience working with or implementing technology solutions within the construction sector (e.g., project management tools, BIM software, or compliance tracking) or a closely related industry.

Technical Skills:

Experience with SQL queries, data analytics, or scripting languages for advanced troubleshooting.

Leadership:

Experience mentoring junior implementation consultants or overseeing a small implementation team.

Change Management:

Background in change management, user adoption strategies, or organisational development programs.
